As the civil war in Syria continues, the victims of the fighting are civilians. More than 20,000 people have lost limbs in the chaos. A Syrian NGO, the National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs has provided 200 free limbs for amputees, and plan to produce at least 800 more in the near future.
